Project Description
The work of interior design is not only simple design work, but also includes furniture installation and basic decoration of the unit. In this residential design project in Yingcui Peninsula, the decoration master relied on his rich experience and professional judgment to provide the owner with basic decoration and improve the effect after the furniture was installed, completing the entire residential decoration project.
This Ying Tsui Peninsula project is a duplex unit with four rooms. The owner decided to renovate the unit after living there for more than ten years. During the process of installing furniture, the homeowner discovered that there was still room for repair after the installation because the furniture had dimensions that were different from those on site. The homeowner hopes that our professional decorators can solve the above problems.
The so-called basic decoration refers to the air, fire, water and electricity systems. Wind represents the air-conditioning system, fire represents the fire protection system, water represents the water supply and sewage system, and electricity represents the power supply system. For this residential decoration project in Yingcui Peninsula, our decoration masters needed to rearrange the positions of furniture, sockets, lights, etc., as well as re-lay the floors and renovate the walls.
Because the homeowner's furniture installation process was not satisfactory, for example: there was a slight difference between the size of the custom-made furniture and the actual space in the unit where the furniture could be placed, and the cabinets and walls were not at 90 degrees, etc.
Therefore, our decorators relied on their rich experience in custom-made furniture and decoration, as well as their on-the-spot judgment ability to re-inspect and perform basic decoration for this unit. For example, they seal the gaps between the cabinets and the wall so that the cabinets fit perfectly against the wall. In addition, the decorator removed the cabinet and reinstalled it so that it maintained the correct angle of 90 degrees.
This residential decoration case also made us deeply understand the importance of tailor-made furniture. Whether it is custom-made doors and furniture, or adding partitions to the unit, on-site survey and calculation are required to achieve the desired effect. Our interior designers will inspect the unit on-site during every renovation project and measure the exact volume and dimensions of the custom-made furniture. At the same time, interior designers use their professional judgment to calculate the most suitable location for placing furniture and take into account the locations of sockets and light switches in the unit to avoid unsatisfactory results after the project and the need for re-decoration.
In this residential design project in Yingcui Peninsula, although the homeowner experienced unsatisfactory furniture installation results, through the professional judgment and decoration skills of our decorators, the problems in furniture customization and installation were solved, highlighting the value of tailor-made furniture.
