Project Description

Hong Kong is a city where space is at a premium, so space utilization has become particularly important. In such an environment, a clever interior design can greatly improve the quality of living. This time we were responsible for the interior decoration design project of a Home Ownership Scheme flat in Chun Kyu Court, Ma On Shan. The designer takes simplicity and space saving as the core of the design, making the home wider and more layered.

In this Chun Piao Court home ownership project, we focus on beige and dark brown wood color decoration design to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Square furniture has become one of the features. From the living room to the kitchen, cabinets of all sizes present a simple and orderly style. Even the wash basins in the bathroom and kitchen are designed in rectangular shapes to save space while taking into account various details of the home.

The design of the living room is mainly simple and comfortable. The TV wall is decorated with light gray and is decorated with a lattice cabinet next to the TV to focus the visitor's attention here. It is simple and elegant while showing the design style. There are also shelves and TV cabinets that can be used to store books, game consoles, sundries, etc., providing residents with enough storage space to cope with daily life. In terms of design, white lights are used on the ceiling to provide ample light for the home. But it is worth mentioning the light slot under the TV cabinet, which not only improves the visual effect of the TV cabinet, but also gives the entire living room a richer sense of hierarchy. Moreover, residents can enjoy the natural mountain scenery outside the window through the large windows. The landscape is matched with the dark brown wood tone of the interior to create a harmonious and pleasant living environment.

The design of the master room is also full of ingenuity and includes the biggest feature of this interior design - the hidden door. In order to make the whole home more concise, the connection between the living room and the master room is designed with a hidden door. The color and material of the door are the same as the wall. From a distance, it looks like a wall, making the room perfectly hidden next to the living room. In addition, the master room, bathroom, room wardrobe and bathroom mirror cabinet all use sliding door design, which not only unifies the overall style of the home, but also greatly saves the space required when opening and closing the door, leaving only space for the door to move sideways.

The kitchen is the soul of the home, and the kitchen design of this project focuses on the combination of practicality and aesthetics. The semi-open design creates a natural connection between the kitchen and the living room, making the entire space more spacious. A large number of suspended and floor-mounted kitchen cabinets provide abundant storage space, allowing residents to easily organize kitchen utensils while keeping the overall space tidy and orderly.

Utilization of space is indeed a major pursuit that every Hong Kong person pursues, especially in home decoration and design, and we are well aware of this. Therefore, the simple sliding door design, soft color matching and highly practical storage combinations provide residents with a design that is full of beauty and hierarchy without feeling oppressive, allowing homeowners to enjoy a comfortable life in a busy city.
