Residential Design: 啟德 | Monaco

Project Description

The longer you live in modern society, the easier it is for you to be restricted by the social framework, and you dare not realize your alternative ideas, causing your own living space to gradually lose its personal touch. Monaco’s homeowners were determined to break away from traditional frameworks, so we created a unique home design that allowed them to realize unlimited possibilities in a limited space.

The overall style of Monaco units is based on unity, with vertical lines as the main design element. This style not only brings a modern feel to the space, but also effectively enhances the visual perception of the occupants. The use of vertical lines can not only heighten the space and enhance the visual sense of the residents, but also make the entire space appear neater and more orderly.

The living room is the core area of the home and can better reflect the resident's personal style. There is a large cabinet near the door of the living room. The C-shaped design makes the cabinet more stylish. The concave position in the middle can be used to place small potted plants, artwork or other decorations. It not only maximizes the practicality of the cabinet, but also highlights the preferences and style of the occupants, realizing a personalized home. In addition, there is a large floor-to-ceiling glass in the living room. The natural light matches the main colors of wood and apricot in the home. The light is sufficient but not dazzling, showing a soft style.

In terms of the bedroom, the residents hope to create a floating desk without legs. The idea seems far-fetched, but we cleverly managed the balance to make the desk appear to be suspended in the air, creating a sense of lightness. There is a nine-lattice bookcase above the desk, which greatly increases the practicality and layering of the room. There is also a hidden light trough at the bottom of the bookcase, providing sufficient light for people using the desk without the need for an additional desk lamp. This design not only effectively saves space, but also provides a simple yet functional work area.

The study room is built into a unique space with an L-shaped desk. This design not only provides residents with a spacious and practical study area, but also visually creates a unique sense of area. The bookshelves and countertops on the wall are all made of wood, which is simple and has a bookish feel.

However, no matter how dreamy a home is, it cannot be separated from the physics and mechanics of reality. In Monaco units, every idea has gone through multiple communications and compromises with the residents to ensure that the dream home is not only an ideal state in imagination, but also can be actually applied in life. The core of this design philosophy is to put the needs of the residents first. As long as the resident has an idea, we will do our best to realize it, ensuring that every home project can reflect the resident's personality and lifestyle, so that your dream home is no longer a dream.
