Residential Design: 藍田 | 匯景花園

Many homeowners feel headaches when faced with the three-pointed and eight-pointed unit plans and don't know how to arrange furniture. But in fact, with detailed space planning and innovative design concepts, the original layout can be easily changed and every inch of space can be fully utilized.

The main challenge faced in this design project was the diamond-shaped living room. Since the living room is in a pentagonal shape, one of the walls is cut into an oblique angle, making it impossible for the TV to face the sofa, and there are many corners, making it difficult to arrange furniture. Without changing the spacing, we designed a "triangular cake TV cabinet". As the name suggests, the design concept is derived from the triangular cake. Each layer has different functions, and the width of each layer can also be adjusted to accommodate the angle of the wall. This can fill the sloping wall position and straighten the wall, thus correcting and balancing the irregularity of the diamond hall. The TV and sofa can be placed horizontally.

The side hall is designed as a dining room area, and the light wood-colored dining table and chairs make the atmosphere of the entire space softer and warmer. In order to make full use of the space, we designed a C-shaped storage cabinet against the wall. The recessed part increases the layering and depth of the space while meeting the owner's storage needs.

In the kitchen, we introduced interesting design elements. First of all, we changed the kitchen door to a glass sliding door design, which greatly improved the lighting in the kitchen and created a transparent and bright cooking environment. In addition, we also made the glass window on one of the sliding doors into a tableware pattern. This design adds interest to the space and adds a lively color to the kitchen.

The master room adopts a simple platform bed design. The platform bed is placed near the window, which not only provides practical storage space, but also creates a quiet relaxation area by the window. In addition, for the wardrobe, we have adopted a hidden handle-less design. On the one hand, it makes the surface of the cabinet more concise, neat and beautiful. On the other hand, it can reduce the risk of children being injured due to collision with the cabinet door handle.

Through design, we have improved the deficiencies in the layout of the units, and at the same time injected interesting elements and warmth into the units, so that homeowners can have a wonderful life experience in their daily lives. We believe that a home designed with people in mind not only meets practical needs, but also brings comfort and happiness to the people who live in it.
