Residential Design: 澳洲 | Carindale

This residential design project is located in Australia and is an independent house. The main challenge we faced was how to connect the spacious interior and outdoor areas while maintaining a consistent style. Through in-depth communication with the homeowner, we reached a consensus on using modern minimalist style as the keynote, with soft tones and transparent building materials to create a warm, bright and comfortable living space.

A major feature of this detached house is its extensive outdoor areas: including an outdoor dining area, private swimming pool and alfresco garden. Above the outdoor dining area, we specially designed a modern wooden fence to replace the thick wall. When light penetrates through it, it can create an interweaving effect of light and shadow. Floor-to-ceiling glass is used at the connection between indoors and outdoors, allowing natural light to fully enter the interior, emphasizing the feeling of openness and transparency.

Moving inside, the spacious living room is the main area to witness gatherings of family and friends. We chose light white walls and simple-line furniture to create a pure, neat and comfortable living atmosphere. At the same time, we use hanging paintings and small potted plants as space decorations, reducing unnecessary furniture and decorative elements to retain the most space for activities.

The kitchen area continues the overall white theme, but we carefully added a marble-patterned island and wooden kitchen cabinets to add a touch of elegance and naturalness to the kitchen. Taking into account the owner's love for cooking, we also reserved space and designed it as an ingredient storage room for them to store various ingredients and cooking utensils.

The bedroom implements a simple and simple style. We laid a dark-colored rug on the floor, which not only adds color contrast, but also enhances the texture and softness of the room. The large terrace attached to the master room is one of the eye-catching highlights of the project. The two are separated by a modern black-framed glass sliding door, which is open and transparent. The terrace has beautiful views and is equipped with outdoor tables and chairs, which is perfect for the homeowner to relax and enjoy life.

Through design, we blend natural and modern elements and ensure a consistent style both indoors and out. I hope this residential project can create comfort and good memories for the owner and his family, and make it a happy home.
