Project Description
This residential design project focuses on creating a warm and comfortable living atmosphere while incorporating modern elements. In order to achieve this goal, the designer used different shades of wood throughout the unit, paired with pure white walls and simple custom-made furniture, to create a modern and minimalist home environment.
The living room is an important space for emotional connection and rest among family members. We chose white and warm wood colors as the main colors, and paired it with natural textured wood floors to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. In order to meet the homeowner's huge demand for storage space, we designed ample storage cabinets against the wall in the living room. In addition to the TV cabinet, we also specially designed two sets of large storage cabinets. In order to prevent the lockers from bringing a sense of oppression to the space, we chose a light wood cabinet body to blend it with the wall and create a more unified visual effect. Moreover, some cabinet doors are made of glass material, making them look more transparent and beautiful, perfectly combining storage function and aesthetic elements.
In the area where the living room and kitchen are connected, we used round arch design as the highlight element to separate the space. This design is not only decorative and aesthetic, but also enhances the visual hierarchy and becomes the focus of the entire space.
We changed the kitchen door to a modern black-framed glass sliding door design. This design not only enhances the sense of space, but also saves space. The glass sliding door can be opened completely outward, increasing ventilation and spatial mobility. In addition, the round arched windows in the kitchen echo the round arches in the living room, enhancing the consistency of the space.
Considering the actual living needs of the homeowner, we merged the master room and study room into one space. Continuing the simple and warm style of the entire unit, the study area is designed with white cabinets and wooden floors to make the space look brighter and spacious. The desk adopts a curved design with elegant and unique lines, creating a relaxed and energetic working environment.
Compared with other areas of the unit, we chose a darker walnut color as the main color in the guest room. When light hits walnut cabinets, it creates a warm and earthy feel. In order to balance the proportion of wood color in the space, we retained the white walls to make the whole space more harmonious.
Through the use of arch elements, color matching, and storage space planning, we create a home environment that combines beauty and practicality, bringing comfort and convenience to the homeowner's life.
